On Wednesday, September 7th of 2022 the prestigious Midtown Loft & Terrace with its amazing view over Manhattan will host the third leg of the Gavi World Tour: the last one of a series of events dedicated to Gavi DOCG and organized by the Consorzio Tutela del Gavi, an exclusive opportunity to discover the great white wine of Piedmont.

Wine trade and media professionals will have the unique opportunity to broaden their knowledge of the Gavi DOCG and to discover 60 different expressions of the Cortese grape during a walk-around tasting. The masterclasses will include a curated selection of wines and an in-depth discussion led by Walter Speller, Italian wine editor for jancisrobinson.com.

Attendees can choose between two masterclass themes:

Masterclass at 11am
Gavi DOCG: Exploring the Latest Vintages
A 60-min masterclass on the latest vintages of Gavi DOCG

Masterclass at 1:30pm
The hidden depths of Gavi – the Ageing Potential of Piemonte’s Great White
A 60-min masterclass on the aging potential of Cortese

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a walk-around tasting from 12pm to 5pm.
