On Monday 28th August the prestigious JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix hosted an event completely dedicated to Gavi DOCG, the Great White Wine of Piedmont.

The event – organized in collaboration with the US magazine SOMMJournal – aimed to give an overview of the Gavi DOCG, its characteristics and ageing potential, to an audience of press and industry professionals. From 11:00am to 12:30pm the Masterclass entitled “Gavi’s Got a New Groove: The Queen of Piedmont is Growing for the Better” - held by Lars Leicht, SOMMJournal VP of Education - allowed participants to get an extraordinary and full overview of one Piedmont’s most intriguing denominations.
