Six restaurants. Two boroughs. One appellation.
The Gavi Restaurant Tour stopped in New York, bringing Gavi DOCG to some of the city’s most dynamic and diverse dining destinations. Sommeliers and international buyers explored the versatility of the appellation through pairings with cuisines ranging from contemporary Asian and Middle Eastern flavors to modern British, Italian and Mexican-inspired menus.
From the vibrant streets of Soho and NoHo in Manhattan to the creative culinary scene of Brooklyn, each stop highlighted a different expression of hospitality and gastronomy.
A special thank you to the restaurants that welcomed the tour: KYU, known for its contemporary wood-fired Asian cuisine; Lord’s, one of NYC’s most talked-about modern British restaurants; Rosie’s, with its vibrant Mexican-inspired menu in the East Village; and in Brooklyn, Al Badawi, celebrated for its generous Middle Eastern cuisine, Popina, a neighborhood favorite for contemporary Italian dining, and Untable, offering a refined and creative take on modern Thai cuisine.
A format that keeps growing, an appellation that keeps surprising.
