Gavi World Tour is back in NYC!

Last Wednesday 30th August, a new leg of the 2023Gavi World Tour was held in the heart of Manhattan, among the halls of the Midtown Loft & Terrace and it was a great success. Both tasting sessions have been successfully “sold out” among attendees.

There have been two unguided tasting sessions that gave guests the chance to freely taste more than 40 labels of the new vintage of Gavi DOCG, served by sommeliers.

Each session started with an introduction dedicated to Gavi’s terroir entitled “Gavi’s Got a New Groove: The Queen of Piedmont is Growing for the Better”, held by Lars Leicht, SOMMJournal VP of Education.

This successful event in New York has allowed the Consorzio to show both opinion leaders and industry operators an extraordinary and full overview of the Great White Wine of Piedmont for which the USA represents one of the main markets.

With this new leg of Gavi World Tour we wanted to give continuity to the project launched last year with the aim of telling the full story of Gavi, explaining its characteristics and making people understand how different it is from any other white wine” says Maurizio Montobbio, president of the Consorzio.
